Open Haven
Podium is a colorful cultural festival, with a bit of a Parade-like
atmosphere. It sports several music stages, theatrical performances,
street theatre, a salsa stage and poetry readings. There are lots of
activities for children, and there's a separate youth stage.
The
festival's traditional closing ceremony is the 'Admiralentocht', a
procession of small boats with music, touring Java and KNSM-island.
To get to
the festival take bus 42, tram 25 or tram 26 from Central Station.
